DENTIST Job Responsibilities:

Provides a full range of clinical general dental services to Smile Design Dentistry patients.
- Supervises and educates the Dental Assistants and Hygienists that assist during the provision of clinical services.
- Conducts the necessary record keeping and charting specific to their patients as outlined by the Smile Design Dentistry Chief Dentist and in keeping with acceptable standards of a licensed dentist.
- Reviews patient treatment plans with parents or guardians to secure informed consent for required procedures and instill confidence in the clinical care provided by Smile Design Dentistry.
- Positively promotes Smile Design Dentistry with our patients, patient's families, and the community.
DENTAL HYGIENIST Job Responsibilities:

Assesses dental condition and needs of patient.
- Reviews patient screening procedures, to include medical history review, dental charting, and perio charting.
- Takes patient vital signs as required.
- Delivers direct patient care to patients as assigned, using established dental hygienist procedures; performs routine treatment procedures, such as cleaning, polishing, x-rays, application of sealants and flourides, and related procedures.
- Develops and implements individualized dental care plans for patients; performs patient education, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching under the supervision of a qualified dentist.
- Provides chair-side assistance to dentists in the performance of special tests, procedures, and complex treatments.
- Documents dental history or chief complaint; records and reports pertinent observations and patient reactions to dental staff, as appropriate; documents lab procedures and ensures follow up on results.
DENTAL ASSISTANT Job Responsibilities:

Prepares patients for examination.
- Prepares tray set-ups for dental procedures.
- Assists with suctioning, holding retractors and suture cutting during surgical procedures.
- Sterilizes and disinfects instruments and equipment.
- Develops x-rays.
- Pours, trims, and polishes impression casts.
- Fabricates custom impression trays.
- Educates patients on oral hygiene instruction and provides postoperative instructions.
- Maintains patient treatment files.
- Maintains inventory and requisitions supplies.
- Adheres to internal controls established for department.
- Performs related duties as required and assigned.
OFFICE MANAGER Job Responsibilities:

Provides team leadership and management expertise while serving in the role of Dental Office Manager for the Company's dental practices.
- Oversees staff responsible for patient scheduling, patient data collection, billing processes and other clerical responsibilities.
- Coordinates employee work schedules and assists our practice management contractors in facilitating payroll accounting.
- Coordinates and/or assists with the recruitment, hiring, orientation and training of new employees.
- Provides training services for office staff.
PATIENT COORDINATOR Job Responsibilities:

Answers telephone calls.
- Schedules appointments.
- Checks out patients.
- Verifies insurance and confirms appointments.
- Provides quality customer service.
DENTAL RECEPTIONIST COORDINATOR Job Responsibilities:

Greets patients/customers in a friendly fashion.
- Schedules patients for multiple doctors.
- Interviews patients to determine purpose, eligibility and fee-scale for clinic services.
- Reviews patient records daily for thoroughness, signatures and legal documentation.
- Monitors dentists' caseloads and assigns patients with appropriate treatment needs.
- Maintains office supply inventory.
- Oversees daily filing of insurance forms and tracking of insurance payments.
