Joshua Burns, DDS

Dr. Joshua Burns was born in Romania but has always considered Florida to be his second home. He attended Central Michigan University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree. He then continued his education at Mississippi College, where he earned his Master of Science in Medical Science, before attending Dental School at Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He loves staying up to date with the newest and best dental practices by attending Pikos Seminars and completing continuing education courses. He also enjoys volunteering in his local community by participating in mission work with his local church.

Growing up, Dr. Burns always wanted to be some sort of doctor, whether in the medical or dental field. His passion for helping people achieve their goals and confidence in life, along with guidance from his mentor, led him to the dental field. His ability to perform complex surgical procedures has only increased his love for the field of dentistry and his passion for it. Dr. Burns says that his favorite part about being a dentist is "getting that high five and smile from a patient after a long treatment plan and therapy to help a patient reach their oral health goals, whether it's simply to get out of pain or a complete smile makeover."

Outside of the office, you can find Dr. Burns attending a Tampa Bay Lightning or Buccaneers game, trying new restaurants and wine tastings, traveling, and staying active.
